We provide evaluations/assessments for legal, clinical, and personal needs.

A Risk/Threat of Harm Assessment is a focused evaluation addressing specific concerns regarding an individual’s potential risk of harm to a child, another person, or themselves. The assessment may include clinical interviews, standardized measures, review of relevant records, and collateral information, as authorized by the court order or referral. Findings are limited to the identified referral questions and should not be interpreted as a comprehensive custody evaluation. A written report is provided outlining the evaluator’s findings, opinions, limitations, and recommendations.

A custody evaluation is a comprehensive evaluation conducted to assist the court in determining custody arrangements that serve the child’s best interests. The evaluation may include interviews with the parties and children, personality, parenting-related, and other types assessments, observations, record review, collateral contacts, and home visits, as appropriate. The evaluator examines relevant parenting capacities, family relationships, safety concerns, and other factors identified in the court order. A written report is submitted to the court containing findings, professional opinions, and custody-related recommendations.
