The brains behind Brighter Mind Counseling!
"Our approaches promote warmth, curiosity, and collaboration."

Christopher Krepps, LAPC
I hold a master’s degree in clinical mental health and bring a wide range of life and professional experience into the counseling room, including my time serving in the Army. These experiences have shaped my belief that people are capable of meaningful change, but that growth often requires honesty, effort, and a willingness to face difficult things.

My approach is personal, flexible, and grounded in genuine conversation. I am especially drawn to cognitive behavioral and existential approaches, helping clients understand unhelpful patterns while also exploring identity, purpose, values, and the direction they want their lives to take.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy reading, gaming, spending time outdoors, connecting with others, and spending time with my children.

I've been a client of Chris' since October 2025, and have experienced a great deal of personal growth in that time thanks to our bi-weekly sessions. His approach mixes candor and compassion, allowing myself to feel empowered when making navigating challenges. - B.R

Chris helped me big time. He helped me navigate through some challenges in my life. He's very easy to talk to and he listens. He actually cares and isn't like other counselors I've had who seem to only care about themselves. He helped me develop more coping skills and transition skills. I highly recommend him as a counselor. - S.D

Chris approches counseling differently than most, creating an environment that feels genuine, comfortable, and focused on the individual. He truly listens and takes the time to understand rather than simply following a standard approach. His ability to connect and offer a different perspective makes each session meaningful and productive. I would highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for a therapist who genuinely cares about helping others. T.S
